Today, a number of families of the martyrs and wounded of the revolution, along with civil society organizations, organized a protest in front of the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the capital, to express their rejection of the draft amendment of the decree related to the Institution of Sacrifice (Fidaa).
In a media statement, the coordinator of the Separation Group, Abdelhamid Al-Saghir, said that the current draft law does not respect the specificity of the case and represents a regression in the gains of the revolution, as he put it.
Al-Saghir condemned the exclusion of the families of the martyrs of the revolution from direct participation in the committee drafting the law and claimed that the case was being used as a political tool to serve certain parties, according to him.
