
Dozens were killed and injured in a violent airstrike conducted by the military on the city of Nyala in Darfur, while eyewitnesses described the combat operations that broke out on Monday in the city of El Fasher, the capital of Darfur region in western Sudan, as the fiercest in the city.
In the latest series of continuous airstrikes on several cities and areas in the Darfur region, local sources reported that 24 people, including women and children, were killed in a violent airstrike conducted by the military on Monday noon, and more than 200 people were injured, some of whom are in critical condition amid a severe lack of medical services. Eyewitnesses pointed to the charring of several bodies due to the strike that targeted residential neighborhoods in the city.
