
The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (Sousse City, Monastir, and Mahdia districts) announced in a statement issued today, Saturday, that electricity will be temporarily cut off tomorrow, Sunday, in several areas in the governorates of Sousse, Monastir, and Mahdia, as part of its regular program to maintain electricity distribution networks and ensure the highest quality of services. The power outage in Sousse will last from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, affecting Hay Erriadh 3, 4, and 5, Hay Erraihan, Hay Ezzouhour - Hanchir Sassi, Hay Bouhsina near Ghazali dormitory, Hay 9 Avril, and Hay Boukhzar. In Monastir, the power outage will also last from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, affecting Hay El-Malab Esportif, Mohamed Salah Sayadi Street, Ali Bourguiba Street, El-Moshref Sqanes, Hay Erriadh Sqanes, and the 10th neighborhood (Eddis). Additionally, the power outage will last from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Beni Hassen delegation and Ouled Azziza area in Moknine delegation. The company confirmed that the power outage in Mahdia will last from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, affecting Diar El Bahar, Diar Essaquifa, Elkandil residence, Hamza residence, El Fatimi residence, Dar Faraj residence, Riyadh El Bahar residence, Essarh residence, Ennadhour residence, and Sidi Masoud on Bekalta road. The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company explained that the process of restoring electricity to the affected areas will be gradual as the works progress and without prior notification.
