The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia stated that the President Kais Saied received, today, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the Carthage Palace, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, who is paying a working visit to Tunisia.
On the occasion, the President of the Republic expressed Tunisia's keenness to further strengthen the sincere existing relations and fruitful cooperation with Egypt in various fields, and its determination to elevate them to the highest levels, diversify them and overcome the difficulties that might encounter them for the good of the two brotherly peoples and their common interest.
During this meeting, a number of regional and international files of common concern were also discussed.
