
Algeria announced today, Tuesday, the summoning of the French ambassador due to the "provocative" treatment of Algerians at airports in the French capital, Paris.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the French ambassador had been informed of "the government's strong protest over the provocative treatment faced by Algerian citizens at Paris airports."
The statement added that "Algeria is deeply concerned about consistent testimonies from numerous citizens regarding the provocative, humiliating, and discriminatory treatment they have encountered from border police at Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports."
