Civil Protection: 8 deaths and 360 injuries during the past 24 hours

8 people died and 360 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Wednesday, August 09, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 409 occasions: 56 for extinguishing fire, 115 for rescue and ambulance, 230 for non-traffic accidents, 2 for rescue on the beaches and 6 for the rest.
