Reuters reported, citing a White House official, that President Donald Trump's administration will cancel visas for students described as "sympathetic to the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas" in American universities. Meanwhile, the New York Post reported that Trump might issue an executive order to combat "anti-Semitism." According to a document reviewed by the American newspaper, the executive order directs federal agencies to find ways to deport anti-Israel activists and outlines plans for the Department of Justice to investigate any pro-Hamas speeches. The executive order also stipulates the deportation of foreigners who "violate the law," including anti-Israel activists, and threatens to deport non-American university students and other resident foreigners who participated in pro-Palestine protests. White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt urged those considering illegal immigration to the United States to reconsider, emphasizing that anyone entering the country illegally will be considered a criminal, according to her statement.
