The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company in the Sousse, Mahdia, and Kasserine regions announced in a statement issued today, Saturday, January 11, 2025, that some areas will experience a power outage due to maintenance work.
The company confirmed that power will be restored without prior notice and as soon as the work is completed in the mentioned areas. According to the statement, the outage will affect some areas in Sousse, including Khzema East Tourist District from Jenan Hotel to Marhaba Hotel – Corniche – Tunis Road – Mohamed Al-Karaoui Street – Al-Habs Buildings – Oued El-Khroub – Northern Buildings and Farhat Hached Square.
In Mahdia, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM: Tahar Safar Neighborhood – Zaqala Area – Trams Area – Al-Salam Neighborhood – Dar Hanchah Shacks – Republic Street and Dar Bin Salim Shacks adjacent to Dar Hanchah Shacks.
In Kasserine, areas including Firiana such as Awlad Shaaban, Sula, Awlad Mubarak, Awlad Marzouk, Sakhirat, Awlad Obeid, Masadiyah, Firiana Industrial Area, Al-Izdihar Neighborhood, Telecom, Western and Eastern Arqe, Maqayseemat, Haqf, Firiana Local Hospital.
In Majel Bel Abbas City: Dakhlat Al-Ajaj, Boujmaa Al-Sayeh, Al-Nador, Qarouh Al-Jadra, Sula Barouka, Boukaf, Al-Afraash, Majel Al-Akarout, Majel Bel Abbas Local Hospital.
