The "Fidaa Foundation" for the care of victims of terrorist attacks from the military, internal security forces, and customs officers, as well as the eligible family members of revolution martyrs and the wounded, announced in a statement today, Tuesday, that it will start disbursing school, university, and training grants for the children of military personnel and internal security forces and customs officers injured in terrorist attacks, whose permanent physical disability rate is equal to or greater than 15%, in accordance with the procedures in force.
Law No. 1 dated January 9, 2025, amending and supplementing Decree No. 20 of 2022, particularly the provisions of the fifth paragraph of Article 12 of the decree, stipulates that the mentioned category will benefit from school, university, and training grants.
The foundation clarified that to obtain the monthly school, university, and training grants, those concerned must send their files to the "Fidaa Foundation," either individually or through their employers, including the required documents as per the list attached to this statement. It noted that the list can be obtained from the foundation's official page on the social network "Facebook".
Additionally, the files can be submitted directly at the foundation's headquarters or sent by mail in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the injured person from the terrorist attack.
The "Fidaa Foundation" had announced on Monday that it would begin providing three types of monthly pensions: two for different categories of revolution wounded, and the third for the eligible family members of the wounded.
It explained that these monthly pensions would be granted to revolution wounded with a permanent disability rate determined by the specialized medical committee of less than 6% who are not engaged in professional activity for a fee, revolution wounded engaged in temporary, casual, or seasonal professional activity for a fee, and the parents, widows, and children of revolution wounded who died before being presented to the specialized medical committee of the Fidaa Foundation.
