
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries has recommended that farmers take the necessary precautions to protect their livestock, agricultural machinery, and equipment by placing them in areas far from riverbanks. The ministry also advised fishermen not to venture out to sea and to take the necessary precautions until weather conditions stabilize.
In a statement issued today, the ministry announced that according to the forecasts of the National Institute of Meteorology, the weather will continue to be cold in most regions today, Monday, January 13, 2025, and tomorrow, Tuesday, with rainfall that will be temporarily stormy and locally heavy, especially in the eastern areas of the north and center and in the extreme northwest. The highest daily rainfall totals are expected to range between 42 and 62 millimeters and may locally reach 82 millimeters, with hail in some limited areas and some snow in the western highlands.
