The General Directorate of the National Guard announced in a statement issued today that a joint task force, involving the Central Anti-Drug Brigade of the Sub-Directorate for Research and the Sub-Directorate for Intelligence of the National Guard in Aouina, successfully dismantled a network specialized in the promotion and consumption of narcotics in the Ibn Khaldun neighborhood, Tunis.
According to the statement, the operation resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of cannabis, a large sum of money in Tunisian currency, and two cars used in criminal activity. Through further investigation and technical examinations, the main member of the network was identified and found to be a famous rapper.
He was arrested along with one of his relatives, with the seizure of narcotics, luxury cars, large motorcycles, and significant sums of money. Upon being brought before the investigating judge, a warrant was issued for his imprisonment along with the other members of the criminal network, according to the same source.
