President Kais Saied received the Minister of Interior, Khaled Nouri, today, Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Carthage Palace. He stressed the need for the Ministry of Trade and Export Development to support efforts to ensure the provision of gas cylinders in several regions that have recently experienced a shortage in distribution. According to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic, the President emphasized the need to regularly supply markets and combat speculation in several agricultural products that have seen an abnormal increase in prices in recent days. During this meeting, the President also stressed the need for regional authorities to double their efforts to further support citizens in facing the cold wave and snowfall in several regions of the Republic. Kais Saied called for the mobilization of all available resources in various regional administrations to support the efforts of security forces and civil protection agents to clear roads covered by snow, with the need to anticipate and take necessary measures to protect citizens.
