Return to Schools in Gaza Despite the Hardships of Displacement

post

Education has partially resumed in the Gaza Strip after months of war, with thousands of students forced to leave their classrooms and relocate from their residential areas, depriving them of their right to education, according to Sky News.

The war deprived around 600,000 Palestinian students from various educational levels of education over a year and a half. The Palestinian Ministry of Education is now striving to resume studies and compensate students through different educational platforms.

Hundreds of Palestinian students returned to their classrooms early this week after a long hiatus, primarily in the central areas of the Strip. Meanwhile, students in Gaza City and its northern areas returned to temporary educational centers.

The decision to resume education is part of an educational initiative launched by the Palestinian Ministry of Education, with the first phase started at the end of last year and concluded at the beginning of this year, mainly targeting high school students who were deprived of taking their exams due to the war.
