The media office of Khartoum State announced today, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, that the death toll from the crash of a Sudanese military plane on a residential building in the city of Omdurman on Tuesday evening has risen to 46, including both military personnel and civilians.
The office stated in a statement that after the completion of the debris removal operations from the houses affected by the plane crash and the final count, the number of victims reached 46 dead and 10 injured.
Earlier today, the Sudanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that the ambulance service had transported injured civilians, including two children, to a nearby hospital. The ministry confirmed that it is utilizing all available resources to transport the injured from the crash site.
The bodies of several military and civilian victims will be buried this morning in Omdurman.
