During a regular press conference held by the Ministry of Agriculture today, Thursday, Abdelhamid Minge, the CEO of the National Company for the Exploitation and Distribution of Water, stated that "the current reservoir stock is at 32%," pointing out that "revenues have increased by 115 million cubic meters compared to last year." Minge added that "the rains were distributed across the entire republic, and the situation is somewhat comfortable compared to the previous period," stressing that "these rains allowed for a good start to the planting season in addition to recording significant revenues for reservoirs in various regions." He confirmed that "the upcoming rains in February and March will have a positive impact, especially since the land is already irrigated, thus the rains will enable the flow of rivers and achieve additional revenues for the country's reservoirs."
