Launch of an Accompaniment Program for University Graduates and Research Doctors to Establish Innovative Projects

The President of the National Organization of Entrepreneurs, Yassine Gouia, announced the launch of an accompaniment program for university graduates and research doctors aimed at establishing innovative projects that contribute to economic development. Gouia explained on Saturday, during the launch of the national conference on "Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Tunisia," that the organization will work on supporting, accompanying, training, educating, and financing young university graduates or vocational training center graduates who have a project idea and a passion for self-employment. He added that the program will include young people from various governorates of the republic who meet the basic requirements, and they will be assisted from the beginning of the project until the first client is acquired. He confirmed that a number of private and even public sector companies will join the same program. Gouia pointed out that, according to recent reports, 50.7% of young people believe in the importance of entrepreneurship and are not afraid of taking risks, and most of them seek to be active in the economic cycle. He emphasized that it is the duty of the National Organization of Entrepreneurship to accompany, educate, train, and seek funding with them, providing all conditions for success and overcoming administrative difficulties. He noted that this conference focuses on three very important mechanisms: employability, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He explained that high growth rates can be achieved if entrepreneurship, which must align with the concept of innovation, is focused on, and which is no longer just a slogan in Tunisia but a necessity. He also called for the importance of giving small and medium-sized enterprises the opportunity to innovate, alongside startups, explaining the importance of trusting the capabilities of these companies and providing the necessary training in the use of artificial intelligence and digital technology so that they can access foreign markets and thus contribute to wealth creation.
