President-elect Donald Trump launched a new attack on officials in California on Sunday, as firefighters continue to battle the raging fires in Los Angeles.
Trump wrote on his social network "Truth Social" that "the fires are still burning in Los Angeles. The incompetent politicians have no idea how to put them out."
He added that it is "one of the worst disasters in our country's history. They simply can't put out the fires. What happened to them?" noting that "death is everywhere."
Although it is too early to determine the source of the fires, authorities have faced criticism regarding their preparedness and response.
