A person died and six workers were injured, with varying degrees of severity, in the overturning of a heavy truck carrying agricultural workers on the agricultural path Menzel Bouzaiane - Haddaj in the delegation of Menzel Bouzaiane in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, on the morning of Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
According to the regional administration of civil protection in Sidi Bouzid, rescue and relief units from the civil protection team in Meknassy intervened immediately upon being informed of the accident. An ambulance from the local public health hospital in Menzel Bouzaiane transported the injured to the regional hospital to receive the necessary medical care.
The local security authorities have committed to opening an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
